chronically ill

I was born with a rare genetic condition, survived childhood cancer, and have been navigating complex medical issues ever since. From hemihypertrophy to alopecia, Eagle’s Syndrome to hearing loss, my health has been a wild ride from day one. But it wasn’t until I became an adult, moving around the country as a military spouse, that I realized just how hard it is to be believed—especially when you’re the one doing the advocating.

After years of being dismissed, questioned, and forced to re-explain my rare diagnoses to new care teams with every move, I had to learn how to advocate for myself—clearly, confidently, and calmly. Then, when my daughter was diagnosed with autism, I had to relearn everything from the lens of a caregiver. I started tracking symptoms, documenting dismissive moments, and creating scripts and templates that helped me walk into appointments with receipts and resilience.

Now, I use my lived experience to help others advocate for themselves, because no one should have to figure this out alone. It’s not medical advice. It’s a guide to help you feel less alone, more prepared, and better equipped to communicate when the system tries to silence you. Because your voice matters and you deserve to be heard.

I believe style is a form of self-expression—and sometimes, self-preservation. Even on my hardest days, getting dressed has been one of the ways I remind myself I’m still here, still worthy, still me. That’s why I created a life that blends self-advocacy with sparkle.

Whether it’s curating a capsule wardrobe that works with my body or making a doctor’s appointment feel like a runway moment (yes, even with a walking stick), I’m all about simplifying without sacrificing style. Life with chronic illness doesn’t have to be all pill bottles and paperwork. It can be joyful, expressive, and even… fun.

My hope is to show others that you can honor your reality and still romanticize your life. You can be soft and strong. Chronically ill and chronically fabulous.

chronically online

If you’ve ever lost hours on Instagram, made besties in the comments, or found comfort in a meme that just gets it—you’re in the right place. I’ve built my corner of the internet to be part community, part resource, and part digital diary of the wild ride that is living, healing, and thriving with chronic illness.

Online is where I share advocacy tips, favorite finds, wardrobe wins, and the occasional unhinged skit about getting dismissed by a doctor. I blend realness with humor, education with storytelling—and always keep it grounded in lived experience.

This isn’t just content. It’s connection. It’s building something beautiful out of the hard stuff. And if you’re here, welcome—you belong.
